Oh boy, what a week we are having here at the Curinga home! And it's only Wednesday morning! Things are always crazy around here, as crazy as you would expect in a house with three busy boys, two work-at-home parents and one old constantly shedding dog. But this week the craziness is over the top.
This guy is sick. Had a fever of 103.3 last night. Scared me out of my wits. It's 8:30 am now and he and Daddy are still sleeping, they never sleep this late. It was a loooooong night. A trip to the doctor is on their agenda for today.
This guy has to have a mysterious lump removed tomorrow. Vet says he's not sure what it is but he is sure that it isn't just a fatty cyst. Once again, I am scared out of my wits.
This guy has the PSAT today. I know he'll do well. But even though he tries to hide it, I know he's a little nervous (but not scared out of his wits!).
I have a Midterm in my Geology class on Friday. Yup, you guessed it, scared out of my wits! I do not like tests, especially tests that are a big portion of your final grade in your very last college class. If I don't do well on this midterm I probably won't pass the class which means I won't graduate in December which means I will have to retake the entire class in the Spring semester... you get the idea!
Speaking of Friday, it will be this guys birthday!! I think getting Boomer home from the vet that day will be present enough but I wish I had another idea too. He's so hard to shop for. I am sure I will figure out something.
Thankfully, this guy has nothing crazy going on besides his regular busy schedule of school, youth group, golf, that sort of thing.
Saturday we will be at the Bluegrass and Barbecue Festival at Hampstead United Methodist Church. Should be a great time with Music by local bands, BBQ with all the fixin's, Bake sale, Games for kids, Hay Rides, Face painting, Dunking Booth, Cake walk and more!
I'll be rocking the face painting booth. If you are in the area, stop by and I will hook you up with a lion or flower or something (I've never done face painting before, I hope I don't make any small children cry!)
Yeah, so between sick kids, a mysteriously lumpy dog, a birthday, major tests, sports, youth groups, festivals, a business to run, and school, we really have nothing going on :)
